I enjoyed both of them Ms. Davis has again given the reader mysteries that Patricia, Elliott, and the kitties unravel. Guess England has different rules about calling a person a veterinarian as Patricia has hung out her shingle in the series one story.
It was a good family mystery with lots of cat with special gifts, to help Pattie solve her cat mysteries. Good for the hold family to read.
I enjoy easy reads before bed to help me fall asleep. These little stories are purrrrfect for filling that need. Charming characters and sweet rescues are a peaceful way to say goodnight to the day. Endearing kitties, and cleverly written stories reveal each of the cats personalities. Recommended for all cat lovers.
Thoroughly enjoyed these two short stories. I've always loves mysteries and read as many as I could get my hands on! I find it particularly interesting that the lead character in these stories was Mrs. Lansbury since Murder She Wrote starring Angela Lansbury was always a favorite of mine. I look forward to Mrs. Lansbury's next adventure.
As soon as I opened the first page I thought I was reading a high school paper. Double spaced between lines and triple between paragraphs. This whole series could have been included in one book of short stories. The stories were interesting, but could be read in 2 hours. Very disappointed!
I love cats & I loved the two short stories in this book. I found the characters, the humor and descriptions delightful. I might suggest that the stories should be proof read as I saw some errors while reading this great book. I absolutely recommend this to all readers especially cat lovers.
I wish that would allow half-stars, for this was definitely a 3 1/2 star book -- two novellas, both mildly entertaining. The characters were somewhat superficial, and the mysteries weren't terribly involved, but the book was well-written and edited, and provided a quiet afternoon's read. .
