Very intense story. Gritty with emotion. I couldn't put the book down. The scenes were sexy and intense, I loved it
A little too much of the same, however it kept my interest for the most part. I thought the story line was weak and characters not well defined. Too many unanswered questions. But at least there was a HEA.
I really liked the love story between the two characters but I missed really missed an non sexual connection between them. The two characters had nearly no interaction between them that wasn't sexual. I would have liked to see the as a couple and not only as lovers!
Two words. Hot and intense. LOVED IT!
The chemistry between the characters reaches off the pages, grabs you and sucks you in. And the best part is.... wait for it.... there's a kick butt story to go with the hotness! Oh yes! I don't know about you but I love a good story. Murder, mystery, family strife. This book has it ALL!

You will love this book!! The characters are rich and have such heart. Your heroine loved with all her heart but still learns from her mistakes. The Very bad boy is so yummy you will forgive him all his crap but she won't!! Lol! You will not be able to put it down!!! Enjoy!!!
I'm glad I decided to read this book by Ms. Griffith. Although the overall feeling of the story was Over-the-Top drama, with a healthy dose of intense love, Jeremiah and Daly were well-developed characters and the plot flowed. There was some repetition of information, more than was necessary, but not enough to stop me from enjoying the story.
A few grammatical errors and/or electronic glitches is why it wasn't starred higher.
One of the best BDSM books I've read in a long time. Not for young readers for sure, but if you're adult enough to handle it, wow are you in for a good time. I won't go into the storyline, there are lots of other reviews that do that much better than I could. What got me about this book was the softness that comes about eventually, how the two main characters relate to one another and how deeply their feelings go. One passage has stuck in my head and in my heart and this says it all to me..."Because everything began and ended with Daly. That was the cost of loving her. Without her, he wasn't whole." For my own reasons that was like a sirens song to me, it spoke of what this entire book is about. It hit home and I fell further in love with the characters. Great read, well written and hot as heck. This one will stay on my , I have to read it over again, and again and again!
